The Creator Fund is gone. The new Creativity program was designed to fix the flaws of its previous version and to provide more ways for creators to be monetized.
TikTok hopes that by removing the Creator Fund, it will provide a more competitive compensation and innovative ways for content creators to make a profit from their work.
What is the TikTok Creative Program?
TikTok released its beta version of its Creativity Program in February 2023. It offered a new way to reward creators financially by allowing the creation of useful content.
Creators in the U.S.A., U.K. France and Germany will now be transferred to the Creativity Fund, which has been replaced by the Creativity Fund.
This program will address the discontent expressed by some creators regarding the money they received from TikTok’s Creator Fund. TikTok Creator Fund.
TikTok makes bold claims when it says that creators can earn 20% more through the Creativity Program than they did with the previous fund.
It’s still too early to draw any conclusions but the prospect of a substantial increase in income certainly appeals to many content creators. Many content creators are interested in turning this side gig into a career.
Who can participate in the TikTok Program for Creativity?
TikTok’s program will be open to all content creators in the coming months.
This is only for content creators that:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Minimum follower and video requirements
- Keep your account in good standing
TikTok may be more innovative than the Creator Fund, even though it hasn’t specified the minimum number of followers or videos. The Creator Fund requires that content creators have at least 100,000 views of authentic videos in the past 30 days, and at least 10,000 followers.
In a report by information, TikTok’s leaders discussed setting the minimum follower threshold at 100,000. This is a much higher number than what is required to fund Creator Fund. Creator Fund. TikTok has not confirmed this requirement, but it is likely that the threshold will be lower.
TikTok’s Creator Fund is a contrast to. Creativity Program
Both the current Creator Fund as well as the new Creativity program have the same requirements. TikTok says that existing members of its former program can switch to the new program. It is not yet confirmed whether TikTok’s Creator Fund will completely replace the Creativity Program once it leaves beta. The Creativity Beta program does however have a new requirement for getting paid: videos must be longer than a minute to be monetizable.
According to TechCrunch, users who have a Creator Fund account and switch to Creativity cannot switch back to Creator Fund. Be cautious. TikTok describes this new system in terms of ” unlocking more exciting, real world opportunities” but it is still too early to know what that actually means. A new dashboard allows video creators to see their videos’ statistics and revenue estimates.
TikTok offers several ways for creators who have money in their creator fund to make money. These include gifts, tips, and the new Series feature that allows creators place all or part of their content behind an exclusive paywall. TikTok constantly tries to attract content creators and keep them on the platform. The This Is the Creativity program is expected to expand to other areas within the near future.
How can I apply for the TikTok Creativity program ?
TikTok did not provide any information on how to apply for this program, other than letting us know that it will be available “within the next few months.” Those who have already been enrolled in the TikTok Creator Fund can switch over to the Creativity Program. Those who are not currently registered with the Creator Fund are welcome and encouraged by TikTok to apply for the Creativity Program.
TikTok is yet to announce whether the Creator Fund will be replaced by the Creativity Program when fully implemented. However, this is possible. Keep building your audience and create quality videos to increase engagement.join
